Park Improvments

In 2017, THPRD completed an updated concept plan for Raleigh Park to improve the park’s existing amenities and restore the park’s stream and habitat. The concept plan is based on community input gathered in 2016-2017 through several community meetings.

THPRD continues to implement the updated concept plan over time as funding becomes available. The pickleball court was renovated in 2018 and the pool deck was replaced in 2019. Staff started habitat restoration activities in the forested areas in 2020.

In summer 2024 THPRD realigned Hall Creek within the park to a more natural alignment. Native trees, shrubs, and herbs will be installated along the new stream corridor through spring 2025.
